Smart Contract Audit Report

Audit Summary

Jireh Audit Report Jireh is building a new token with a frictionless fee redistribution mechanism and automatic liquidity adds.

For this audit, we reviewed the project team's JirehToken contract at 0xAa8caE8e2D960Fa1439b1799b61e0b4575E2eCb5 on the Binance Smart Chain Mainnet.

Audit Findings

High findings were identified and the team must resolve these issues. In addition, centralized aspects are present.
Date: June 21st, 2022.

Finding #1 - JirehToken - Low

Description: swapAndLiquify(), claimETH(), and claimTokens() transfers BNB from this contract to external addresses using the transfer() function instead of the call() function.
Risk/Impact: The transfer() function uses a hardcoded gas amount of 2300, meaning transactions could run out of gas as the team receives BNB if the receiver is a contract.
Recommendation: The team should ensure that the receiver addresses are not smart contracts, or use .call.value{...}("") instead as it does not have a gas limitation.
Resolution: The team has not yet addressed this issue.

Finding #2 - JirehToken - Informational

Description: Several state variables can never be modified, but are not declared constant.
_decimals, _name, _symbol, _tTotal, and donationAddress
Recommendation: These state variables should be declared constant for additional gas savings on each call.

Contract Overview

  • The total supply of the token is set to 100 billion $JIREH [100,000,000,000].
  • No mint or burn functions are accessible beyond deployment but circulating supply can be decreased by sending to the 0x..dead address.
  • At the time of writing this report, 100% of the total supply belongs to the owner.
  • There is a tax, liquidity, marketing, dev, and donation fee that applies to all buy and sell transactions where neither the sender nor the recipient is excluded from fees.
  • Blacklisted accounts cannot participate in any transfers.
  • The tokens collected through the tax fee are removed from the circulating supply; This serves as a frictionless fee redistribution that automatically benefits all token holders at the time of each transaction.
  • The tokens collected from the liquidity, marketing, and dev fees are stored in this contract. The tokens are swapped for BNB for the purpose of funding Pancakeswap liquidity, marketing team, and development team when the following conditions are met:
    • The automatic liquidity add functionality is enabled by the team.
    • The threshold number of tokens to swap in this contract address has been reached.
    • The contract is not currently performing a liquidity add.
    • The caller is not initiating a buy transaction via Pancakeswap.
  • Liquidity-adds are automatically performed by selling half the tokens collected from liquidity fees, swapping it for BNB, and adding the tokens and BNB as liquidity to the pool.
  • The LP tokens recieved through this process are stored in this contract. We recommend that the team lock these newly acquired LP tokens.
  • The tokens collected from the marketing and dev fees are swapped for BNB and sent to their respective wallets.
  • The tokens collected from the donation fees are added to the donation wallets balance.
  • Any user can call the claimETH() function which sends all the ETH in the contracts balance to the dev wallet.
  • The contract complies with the BEP-20 token standard.
Ownership Controls:
  • The owner can update the tax, liquidity, marketing, dev, and donation fees at any time.
  • The owner can update the marketing, dev, and exchange wallets at any time.
  • The owner can add and remove addresses from a blacklist.
  • The owner can include and exclude accounts from fees and limits.
  • The owner can update the buy and sell fees at any time.
  • The owner can enable the automatic liquidity add feature at any time.
  • The owner can update the threshold number of tokens required to perform an automatic liquidity add.

What is a SourceHat Audit?

Typically, a smart contract audit is a comprehensive review process designed to discover logical errors, security vulnerabilities, and optimization opportunities within code. A SourceHat Audit takes this a step further by verifying economic logic to ensure the stability of smart contracts and highlighting privileged functionality to create a report that is easy to understand for developers and community members alike.

How Do I Interpret the Findings?

Each of our Findings will be labeled with a Severity level. We always recommend the team resolve High, Medium, and Low severity findings prior to deploying the code to the mainnet. Here is a breakdown on what each Severity level means for the project:

  • High severity indicates that the issue puts a large number of users' funds at risk and has a high probability of exploitation, or the smart contract contains serious logical issues which can prevent the code from operating as intended.
  • Medium severity issues are those which place at least some users' funds at risk and has a medium to high probability of exploitation.
  • Low severity issues have a relatively minor risk association; these issues have a low probability of occurring or may have a minimal impact.
  • Informational issues pose no immediate risk, but inform the project team of opportunities for gas optimizations and following smart contract security best practices.
